Pastor Kristin Porter
Children's Pastor
Kristin grew up in the church and is passionate about serving God wherever she is called.
As a teen and young adult, she was active in missions and regularly involved in serving in the local church. She counts it is a very real honor to pass on that same quality experience to the children here at Radiant Church. It is Kristin's driving passion to create a fun and exciting environment where kids not only learn about God's truth, but actively practice and apply it in their lives; that they have a real experience with God, and not just knowledge about Him.
Kristin's vision for the Children's Ministry is that it would be a support and encouragement to the entire family, to partner with parents as they pass on the faith to their children. That together, the parents and the church will raise up a generation of children who know God and His Word, and who are inspired to impact their world.
Kristin graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2003 with a degree in International Relations. She studied Spanish and is fluent in that language, a fact that fits in nicely with her passion for missions. She is a woman of diverse interests, who is a connoisseur of both tea and coffee in equal measure. She loves mountain biking, camping, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
